I’ve been a technology geek since I was a kid, hammering out BASIC from a printed manual on a Texas Instruments computer connected to the TV, and I never grew out of it. I’ve always lived a step ahead on the technical adoption curve, wanting to understand how the new thing works and then put it to use. More than twenty years into building support and IT operations from the ground up, that curiosity is still the engine. I’ve worked through every major shift the field has thrown at us, from AS/400s and dial-up to data centers, cloud, automation, and now AI.
As Director of Technical Support at EIS, I built a $100M+ SaaS support and observability platform from zero in six months. I’ve cut resolution times in half and led full customer migrations with no data loss. Based in Portland, Oregon, I’m hands-on in the systems that keep a business running, including Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, PagerDuty, and Datadog, where debugging APIs and automating workflows are second nature.
That builder mindset goes beyond software. When I lost hearing in one ear, I designed and built my own device (CrosTalk) to solve the problem, circuit board, firmware, and all. I build where trust matters. Across healthcare, insurance, fintech, and hospitality, I’ve led regulated support operations with security, accuracy, and compliance built in from the start, including HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
As much as I love technology, the thing I’m proudest of isn’t a system. It’s the people I’ve coached into roles they weren’t sure they were ready for, building stronger teams as I go. The tech is how I serve. The people are why it matters.
