I've spent more than twenty years building support and IT operations from the ground up, and the part I care about most has never really been the technology itself. It's that solid operations make it possible to serve customers with authenticity and who get real answers, teams who know exactly where they stand, and systems that keep working long after I've moved on.
At EIS I built complete operational infrastructure from zero for a $100M+ SaaS portfolio and had it live in six months, on time and on budget. At NAVEX I cut case resolution time in half. When Peak Hosting closed its doors, I kept every customer migration clean with zero data loss. I work hands-on with the systems underneath, Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, PagerDuty, Datadog, and these days I lean on automation and AI to pull the friction out of work that used to swallow a team's productivity.
Most of my career has lived in regulated rooms where precision matters, healthcare and insurance, fintech and hospitality, with compliance built in from the start instead of bolted on later (HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS). But the thing I'm proudest of isn't a system. It's the people I've coached into roles they weren't sure they were ready for, developing each one individually while building a stronger team around them.
